  • Use the POS system as trained.
  • Greet guests in a Kalispel friendly manner by providing constant, attentive and friendly service to all guests.
  • Communicate with your supervisor to resolve any guest questions in a timely manner.
  • Complete all side work in a timely and satisfactory manner to ensure a clean, neat work area with adequate supply level. Side work lists to be followed.
  • Maintain a clean and stocked server station.
  • Correctly perform all necessary paper and bookwork at shifts end.
  • Attend all training meetings.
  • Duties, responsibilities, requirements, and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Education High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Experience
  • One to three months related experience and/or training helpful; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working as a waiter/waitress preferred. Skills & Abilities
  • Must possess excellent customer relations and customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle cash and give proper change.
  • Skill in identifying and resolving problems under pressure conditions.
  • Ability to learn and operate the POS system. Other Requirements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Tribal Gaming License.
  • Washington State Food Handler Permit within 14 days of start date.
  • Hepatitis A vaccination.
  • Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) certification.
  • Available and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as required. Physical Demands The physical demands described below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.   • Requires the ability to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 65 pounds.
  • Ability to be on your feet for entirety of shift
  • Occasionally requires standing and/or sitting for sustained periods of time.
  • Occasionally requires ascending or descending stairs or ramps using feet and legs and/or hands and arms.
  • Consistently requires raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally.
Work Environment The work environment characteristics described below are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this position. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to tobacco smoke, moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The worker is frequently subject to environmental conditions, which provide protection from weather conditions, but not necessarily from temperature changes, and is occasionally subject to outside environmental conditions and to wet and/or humid conditions.
