As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert knowledge, and a lively attitude. Your role is vital in creating memorable dining moments, ensuring guests feel welcomed, valued, and satisfied from start to finish. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure smooth flow of service Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and attention to detail Provide expert recommendations on menu items, including wine pairings and cocktail options, to enhance guest satisfaction Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items including spirits, cocktails, desserts, and specialty beverages to maximize sales opportunities Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems and process sales transactions efficiently Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables promptly and adhering to food safety protocols Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues promptly Engage with guests to foster positive relationships, address concerns professionally, and ensure an enjoyable dining experience Assist with food handling, wine knowledge sharing, and basic math calculations as needed for accurate billing Qualifications Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred; fine dining experience is a plus Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, cocktail preparation, and food industry standards Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and sales transactions accurately Experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is beneficial but not required Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends Join us as a Server where your enthusiasm fuels memorable dining experiences!
