The newly opened Great House, designed by renowned resort architects Hart Howerton, creators of America's best clubhouses, lives as an extension of our club member's personal residence: a gathering place for all generations to enjoy. The Great House is comfortably nestled on a plateau overlooking the back nine, with infinite views toward Lake Cle Elum and the stunning mountains beyond. Club employees will conduct themselves in a manner that supports the Tumble Creek Club mission- We care for people so they can be their best. We expect our employees to provide exceptional service to both members and their guests exemplifying the Tumble Creek Culture. The Server will provide an excellent member and guest experience from start to finish, providing menus, taking orders, both recommending and serving food and drinks. This person is responsible for providing customized dinning experiences. The right person should be familiar with foods, beverages, and sanitation standards, with a focus on maintaining an attractive and clean enviroment. This position offers opportunity for casual conversation and creativity.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Clock in and check in with the manager-on-duty;
  • Check assigned station: wipe all tables; fill salt and pepper shakers and sugars; set tables according to the style of service; verify that the centerpiece and table position are correct; and check the floor around tables;
  • Take tables as guests are seated in assigned section, utilizing all aspects of our service standards;
  • Set a positive, comfortable atmosphere for selling our product to the guest;
  • When delivering food, you are the last person to quality check the product. Be certain that it meets our standards. If not, notify the manager-on-duty;
  • Monitor assigned tables for customer satisfaction, quality, and additional service;
  • Pre-bus, clearing all dishes as guests finish eating;
  • Address any guest issue promptly and with concern;
  • Assist fellow servers whenever possible;
  • Once phased, the first responsibility is to reset all assigned tables and check assigned station. Make sure the salt and pepper shakers and sugars are full and check the floor for cleanliness;
  • Complete assigned side work. Side work is not optional and will be checked out by the manager-on-duty;
  • Clock out, report tips and verify the daily sign in/sign out sheet with the Manager-on-Duty;
  • Basic bartending, when specified by supervisor
  • Comply with all Washington State safety, health and labor regulations;
  • Comply with all Suncadia policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

  • Offers warm and sincere welcome/farewell for all colleagues, leaders, vendors and guests of Suncadia Resort including use of name & good eye contact with each. Be alert and Courteous at all times.
  • Remain alert and maintain an up to date working knowledge of all resort amenities, events, hours of operations etc. by daily review of the Yapp App and other communication tools;
  • Up sell Suncadia Resort's services and amenities to guests;
  • Maintains constant awareness of safety issues, (i.e. broken glass, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks and suspicious persons) and reports all safety incidents to on-duty leader.
  • Colleagues must communicate any workplace accident/incident to a leader within 24 hours of the event;
  • Follows the required procedures for handling, cleaning, disposing, or moving of objects/materials and/or the cleanup of blood, infectious materials, or body fluids containing blood in accordance with the OSHA Blood-borne Pathogen Standards.
Colleagues not properly trained in the removal of Blood-borne Pathogens should immediately report the need for clean up to their department leadership and schedule training for future incidents;
  • Acts with responsibility towards all company property, supplies and equipment;
  • Maintains a professional appearance by following all Suncadia Resort standards with regard to Dress/Uniform Code, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Hygiene, Grooming and nametag requirements.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
  • High school education or GED equivalent;
  • Current Washington state food handler permit required;
  • Current Washington state liquor license required;
JOB REQUIRMENTS
  • Must be 18 years of age or older;
  • Ability to learn basic bartending skills; willing to occasional work bar shifts; if over 21 years old
  • Ability to work well with others and function well in fast paced environment;
  • Able to communicate well with colleagues and customers;
  • Able to work flexible hours and days;
  • Knowledge of food and beverage products;
  • Knowledge of property-wide facilities and services;
  • Possess excellent telephone and organizational skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Ability to stand for entire shift;
  • Must be able to occasionally up to 40 lbs with assistance;
  • Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, walk on uneven surfaces and reach on a continuous basis.
