FRONT OF HOUSE
HBR, SERVERS, BARTENDERS Job Summary:
We are a rapidly growing restaurant looking for Hosts, Bussers, and Runners (HBR), Servers, and Bartenders to enhance our company. We are looking for creative, motivated people who can work in a fast-paced and teamwork-oriented environment. You will need to be organized, have basic serving skills, communicative, high energy, and have a positive attitude.
Usual tips:
$30 - $50/hr
Requirements:
(All Positions):
  • Be able to be on your feet for 4-8 hours.
  • Knowledge of service standards.
  • Obtain WA Food Handlers Card.
  • Be able to lift and carry 10-20 lbs. Available to work on weekends.
  • Bartender:
  • Be able to kneel, stoop, bend, push, shove, lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Have a Bartending Certification (Check with your local health Dept for requirements)
Responsibilities:
HBR- Host/Busser/Runner:
  • Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner.
  • Monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow.
  • Estimate wait times for guests and seating guests.
  • Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
  • Performs opening and closing duties, as needed.
  • Refill beverages at tables
  • Help deliver food to tables and distribute food to proper seating positions
  • Pre-bussing tables/clearing and cleaning tables after guests leave the restaurant
  • Take full garbage cans to the dumpsters and empty trash into the dumpsters
  • Assists others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, etc.
Server:
  • Serves guests with food and beverages in a positive and friendly manner.
  • Provides information to help with food and beverage selections.
  • Presents ordered choices in a prompt and efficient manner.
  • Maintains dining ambiance with an enthusiastic attitude.
  • Prepares room for dining by setting tables, chairs, condiments, and service utensils.
  • Protects establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
  • Helps guests select food and beverages by suggesting menu items, explaining the menu offerings, and answering food preparation questions.
  • Transmits orders to bar and kitchen by recording guests' choices and identifying guests' special dietary needs and special requests.
  • Keeps kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression.
  • Serves orders by picking up and delivering guests' choices from the bar and kitchen and delivering accompaniments and condiments from service bars.
  • Responds to additional guest requirements by inquiring of needs and observing dining process.
  • Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, providing tools, refilling water glasses, and being alert to guest spills or other special needs.
  • Concludes dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant and inviting guests to return.
  • Obtains revenues by totaling charges, issuing bills, accepting payments, and returning change, credit card, and signature slip to guests.
Bartender:
  • Open and closing duties; setting up, breaking down, and maintaining the bar area during your shift
  • Stock/prep and making sure the bar is set for service.
  • Batch all bulk cocktails and scratch mix all other cocktails.
  • Have an extra level of knowledge from the servers and be more of a "key" teammate on the floor.
  • Ensure that our guests always receive the finest products and services that Angry Carb Shack has to offer with a friendly smile that will set us apart as a restaurant and give our guests reason to come back time after time. Qualifications/Skills (All Positions):
