Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining proper presentation standards Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling, serving, and bussing activities Assist with food preparation, table clearing, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area Demonstrate extensive beverage knowledge including spirits, wine pairings, cocktail mixing, and drink service techniques Manage guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and quality standards are met Experience Previous food service experience in a restaurant setting is required; fine dining experience is highly preferred Proven ability to handle POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS efficiently Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Experience with customer service roles that involve guest interaction and relationship building Familiarity with food safety protocols and sanitation standards in the food industry Ability to manage time effectively during busy service hours while maintaining high-quality service standards Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing sales records Join us if you're passionate about hospitality!
