The ideal candidate will have a passion for guest services and the ability to create memorable experiences for our patrons. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service while efficiently managing beverage orders in a Bar & Grill setting. Responsibilities Verify the age and identification of all guests purchasing and consuming alcoholic beverages, ensuring compliance with, local, state, and fedral laws Greet guests promptly and take beverage orders with a friendly demeanor. Serve drinks and ensure that all beverages are prepared according to standard recipes. Maintain knowledge of the menu, including drink specials, to provide recommendations to guests. Operate the POS system accurately for order entry and payment processing. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar and restaurant areas, cleaning and bussing tables, including restocking supplies as needed. Monitor guest consumption levels and provide responsible service of alcohol. Address any guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of beverages served. Skills Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing. Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing change. Strong guest service skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. Knowledge of culinary practices related to beverage preparation is a plus. Experience working in a nightclub or restaurant environment is advantageous. Sales skills to promote drink specials and enhance guest experience are beneficial.
