Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Busser/Food Runner, where your energy and enthusiasm will elevate the guest experience! In this vital role, you will support the front-of-house operations by ensuring tables are promptly cleared and reset, delivering food swiftly and accurately from the kitchen to our guests, and maintaining a clean, organized dining environment. Duties Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a smooth flow of service and ensure cleanliness throughout the dining area Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests promptly, accurately, and with a friendly attitude Assist servers with bussing tables, refilling water glasses, and providing additional support as needed Maintain cleanliness in dining areas by sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and properly disposing of trash and used dishes Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, food containers, and supplies following safe lifting practices Support food safety standards by ensuring proper handling of dishes and utensils during service Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery Skills Experience in food service or restaurant environments with knowledge of food handling and safety protocols Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact positively with guests Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing (nice-to-have) Knowledge of cleaning procedures to uphold sanitation standards in dining areas Previous banquet or kitchen experience is advantageous for quick adaptation to fast-paced service Exceptional in-person customer service skills that foster a welcoming atmosphere for all guests Join us to be part of a vibrant team where your hard work directly contributes to memorable dining experiences!
