Job Description As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests by providing attentive, friendly, and efficient service. Your primary objective is to ensure customer satisfaction by accurately taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing any guest needs or concerns promptly. You will collaborate closely with kitchen staff and management to maintain smooth operations and uphold high standards of cleanliness and presentation. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business and positive reviews.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is preferred but not required. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts. Basic math skills for handling transactions. Legal eligibility to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities:
Greet and seat guests in a courteous and timely manner. Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions regarding menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods. Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff. Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring order accuracy and presentation standards. Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any issues or special requests. Process payments and handle cash or credit transactions securely. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service flow and support during busy periods. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
