Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring accuracy and presentation standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns or requests. Handle transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the highest quality of service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders. Assist with training new staff members as needed. Skills Strong understanding of food safety and food handling practices. Excellent guest service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences. Familiarity with culinary terminology and restaurant operations is preferred. Cash handling experience with basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance sales opportunities. Exceptional time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a busy environment. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well under pressure as part of a team.
