Since 2017, we have served fresh, carefully crafted ramen and Izakaya-style dishes across multiple states, with a strong commitment to guest experience, employee experience, and consistently high food quality. We are seeking service-minded, reliable, and professional individuals who are passionate about hospitality and committed to delivering a refined and memorable dining experience. Both full time and part time positions are available. About the Role As a server at Tanaka Ramen & Izakaya, you will provide warm, attentive, and hospitality-focused service to every guest. You will take orders, serve ramen and signature dishes, support smooth front-of-house operations, and contribute to a dining experience that guests want to return for. Experience is not required and training is provided, with preference given to candidates who have prior restaurant or serving experience. Key Responsibilities Provide a welcoming and professional guest experience from greeting through completion of service Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders using professional POS systems Deliver food and beverages promptly, ensuring accuracy, presentation standards, and guest satisfaction Offer knowledgeable menu guidance and make appropriate upsell recommendations when suitable Maintain clean, organized, and service-ready dining and workstation areas at all times Communicate effectively with the kitchen to support timely and efficient service flow Respond to guest questions, feedback, and concerns in a courteous and solutions-oriented manner Remain knowledgeable about menu items, ingredients, specials, allergens, and promotions Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures in accordance with restaurant standards Qualifications Prior serving or restaurant experience is preferred Prior bar tender experience is a strong plus Basic understanding of food safety practices Experience with POS systems is a plus Ability to multitask and remain composed in a high-volume service environment Strong teamwork mindset, professionalism, and positive attitude What We Offer Complimentary shift meal and drink Flexible scheduling options with both full time and part time opportunities Competitive compensation structure aligned with performance and role Ongoing training and opportunities for professional growth and advancement Supportive, respectful, and team-oriented workplace culture Compensation $17.13 per hour plus tips based on role and experience.
