Floor Guard / Birthday Party Server (Part-Time) Rollarena Skating Center Looking for a fun, active job where no two shifts are the same? Rollarena Skating Center is hiring a Part-Time Floor Guard/Birthday Party Server to help create a safe, welcoming, and exciting experience for our guests. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children and families, is confident on roller skates, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Evenings and weekends required. Must be available to work Saturdays.

Please note:

We are looking for someone seeking a long-term position. This is not a seasonal or summer-only job. Responsibilities Monitor the skating floor to promote a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests. Enforce rink rules professionally and confidently. Assist with birthday parties by serving food and drinks, helping hosts, and ensuring guests have a great experience. Provide friendly customer service to children, families, and groups. Operate the concession or admissions area as needed, including handling cash and making change. Keep work areas clean, organized, and ready for guests. Hand out skates Be able to stand and work on your feet for up to 5 hours at a time Cleaning duties at the end of the shift like vacuuming or mopping Assist with other rink duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be 17 years of age or older. Must be able to roller skate confidently and safely for several hours at a time. Comfortable handling conflict and addressing guest issues in a calm, professional manner. Friendly, outgoing, and enjoys working with children and families. Able to accurately count money and make change. Strong multitasking skills and ability to work in a busy environment. Able to touch dirty shoes and skates Able to work in close proximity to other employees and customers Good at making conversation and assisting patrons of all ages and abilities on or off skates Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings and weekends, especially Saturdays.
