The Food Runner is responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately while supporting servers and kitchen staff. This role helps maintain smooth restaurant operations, ensures proper food presentation, and contributes to an excellent dining experience through teamwork and attentive service.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the correct tables promptly. Verify orders for accuracy, presentation, and completeness before serving. Coordinate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure efficient service. Communicate special requests and dietary requirements accurately. Ensure dishes are presented according to restaurant standards. Assist servers with delivering beverages and additional items when needed. Monitor tables and respond to guest requests professionally. Maintain cleanliness and organization in food-service areas. Help clear tables and reset dining areas during busy periods. Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures. Handle dishes and serving equipment safely. Notify servers of missing items or order discrepancies. Support kitchen and front-of-house teams during peak service. Assist with opening, closing, and side-work duties. Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude. Help ensure orders are delivered efficiently and guests receive attentive service.

Qualifications & Skills:

Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Good attention to detail and order accuracy. Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced restaurant. Good organizational and time-management abilities. Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices. Ability to carry food trays and stand for extended periods. Friendly, reliable, and professional attitude. Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to follow instructions and service procedures. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
