Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic server to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests while ensuring their needs are met in a timely and professional manner. Duties Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression. Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, and make recommendations to enhance the dining experience through upselling techniques. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Process payments accurately using cash handling procedures and ensure proper transaction documentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and assisting with sanitation efforts. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Uphold all food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines to ensure guest health and safety. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy setting. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling. Knowledge of food handling practices, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations is essential. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the restaurant's schedule. We are also open on some holidays. Willing to work in the front and the back of the house could increase hours.
