Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled. Serve food, cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation. Upsell menu items and beverage options to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Process cash and credit card transactions accurately using POS systems Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, dietary restrictions, and restaurant policies with professionalism. Experience Prior food service experience in a restaurant setting, preferably with casual or upscale establishments. Familiarity with POS systems is highly desirable. Experience with cocktail preparation, spirits knowledge, wine pairing, and beverage service is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and resolve issues promptly. Previous host/hostess or cashiering experience is beneficial but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential.
