Job Description:
Union House in Cedarburg is hiring a dependable and team-oriented Restaurant Floater to support our front-of-house team. This position is designed for someone who enjoys variety and wants to learn multiple restaurant roles. Floaters are cross-trained as hosts, food runners, and expos, and step into different positions to help cover shifts when team members are unavailable. It's a great opportunity for younger applicants or anyone looking to gain well-rounded restaurant experience in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
Pay:
$10/hour plus tip out
Responsibilities:
Greet and seat guests when working the host position Run food accurately and efficiently from kitchen to tables Assist with expo duties including order organization and communication Maintain cleanliness and organization of host stand and service areas Provide friendly, attentive guest service Step into different FOH support roles as scheduled to help cover team needs
Qualifications:
Restaurant experience not required but recommended Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment Strong teamwork and communication skills Reliable transportation and punctuality Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Schedule:
Part-time Weekend availability required Evening availability required
