Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Manage table settings, clear dishes, and assist with bussing to maintain a clean dining environment. Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are strictly followed during food handling and service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms. Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction. Assist with opening or closing duties as needed to support smooth restaurant operations. Previous restaurant experience or food service background preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Experience with upselling techniques and sales-driven approaches to enhance guest experiences. Excellent communication skills along with basic math proficiency for cashiering and cash handling tasks. Prior host/hostess experience or bartending background is a plus but not required. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a lively hospitality setting.
