Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems we use hand held Toast tablets. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas Manage reservations via OpenTable or similar platforms, ensuring smooth guest flow Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met in all aspects of service Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders and guest satisfaction Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and fostering positive guest relations Requirements Previous restaurant experience or food service background preferred, but not required. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS a plus! Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts and multitask seamlessly Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing Excellent communication skills to engage with guests and team members effectively Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a fast-paced environment As we are located across from Camp Randall we require availability to work all Football games and Volleyball games!!
