We're looking for friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Event Servers to join our on-call team. This is a great fit for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys being part of a team, and takes pride in giving guests a great experience — whether it's a wedding, a corporate event, or a private party. About the Role As an Event Server, you'll be a key part of bringing our events to life. You'll set up and break down service areas, pass and plate food, keep buffet and bar areas stocked and tidy, and interact directly with guests to make sure every event runs smoothly and every guest feels taken care of. Shifts are scheduled per event, so no two days look the same — and the more reliable and skilled you are, the more shifts you'll be offered. Key Responsibilities Set up and break down service stations, buffet lines, and dining areas before and after events Pass hors d'oeuvres, plate and serve food, and bus tables during service Keep food and beverage stations stocked, clean, and presentable throughout the event Interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner and respond to requests promptly Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times Work closely with the Event Operations Manager, chefs, and bartenders to keep service on schedule Help load, unload, and organize event equipment and supplies Represent Lavender Haze Hospitality with a positive, can-do attitude at every event Qualifications Previous serving, catering, or hospitality experience preferred but not required — we'll train the right person Reliable transportation to and from event venues Comfortable standing, walking, and being on your feet for extended periods Ability to lift and carry up to 25-30 pounds Available to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude Professional appearance and punctuality Perks & Benefits Competitive pay, paid per shift Flexible, on-call scheduling — pick up shifts that work for you Opportunities to move into lead server or event captain roles Work at beautiful weddings, private events, and unique venues around Madison Be part of a supportive, creative, and growing hospitality company Employee discounts across our hospitality brands All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
