Duties Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and assist with food and beverage selections to enhance their dining experience Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring timely delivery of food and drinks Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales while maintaining genuine guest engagement Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring proper food handling, sanitation, and presentation standards are met Clear tables promptly by bussing and resetting for the next guests while maintaining cleanliness and organization Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation, ensuring guest orders are correct and delivered promptly Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing concerns proactively and providing personalized service in a fast-paced environment Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and sales tracking Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking seamlessly Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is a plus for understanding food preparation processes Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure smooth service flow Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and inventory management Experience with upselling techniques to increase sales opportunities without compromising guest satisfaction Prior host/hostess or serving experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels memorable experiences!
