Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Waitstaff/Server and become the heart of our guest experience! Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, present menus, and assist with questions about food and beverage options Take accurate orders using POS systems ensuring timely processing of sales transactions Serve food and beverages efficiently, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, with a focus on presentation and quality Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities through effective suggestive selling techniques Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations; bus tables and reset for new guests Process cash and credit card payments accurately using POS systems; handle cash handling responsibilities responsibly Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders; assist with food preparation or plating when needed Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction Support host/hostess duties by managing reservations through OpenTable or similar platforms when required Experience Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems experience with OpenTable for reservations management is advantageous Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and ensure guest satisfaction Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash confidently Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation standards is preferred; experience in food handling or food preparation is beneficial Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding dining experiences!
