Full Job Description Description:
As a Fine Dining Server, you will be responsible for ensuring customers have a positive experience by exhibiting excellent customer service. Duties will include taking food and drink orders and ensuring that tables are served properly and that all payments are collected. To succeed in this role, you will need to have a positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure with bussers, cooks, and other staff. Previous work experience involving customer service in a fast-paced environment is greatly desired. Job Tasks /
Duties:
Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials. Take accurate food and drink orders and enter into the POS system. Monitor customer satisfaction, addressing concerns promptly. Engage with customers in a friendly manner. Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes. Split checks if applicable. Collect payments from tables. Pre-bus/bus tables to help the table turn around. Complete weekly cleaning tasks, designated side work and roll silverware. Stock ice. Help food preparation staff when necessary.
Requirements:
Physical Demands and Work Environment Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach. (Shifts can vary up to 10 hours or double shift) Push, pull or lift up to 30 pounds to shoulder height. Qualifications 18 years of age, to serve alcoholic beverages. Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work well under pressure with bussers, cooks and other staff. A positive attitude and willingness to learn about menu items and upselling techniques. Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver orders in a timely manner. High School education or equivalent. Previous hospitality experience.
