Up North sports bar, you'll thrive by delivering outstanding service with a positive attitude and a passion for hospitality. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing attentive and personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS systems, ensuring timely delivery Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere Assist with food handling, basic food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when Requirements EXperience in food service or restaurant environments, helps but not necessary Knowledge of Toast POS system Preferable Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Ability to handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques Previous host/hostess or serving experience is highly desirable; experience in bussing or guest services is a plus Basic math skills for order accuracy and bill calculations; culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous Join us to deliver exceptional hospitality that delights every guest!
