Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a dynamic dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a keen understanding of food handling and safety protocols. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a memorable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining the standards of our fine dining establishment. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and welcoming demeanor. Present menus, explain daily specials, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS system or similar point-of-sale systems. Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining proper presentation standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines at all times. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests. Uphold all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation. Skills Proficient in food handling practices and food safety regulations. Experience in fine dining settings is preferred but not required. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Basic math skills for processing payments and handling cash accurately. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to effectively interact with guests and team members.
