Whether you're providing top-tier customer service or expertly managing food and beverage orders, your energy will drive the vibrant atmosphere of our restaurant. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a fast-paced, engaging environment. Duties Greet guests warmly, present menus, and answer questions about food and beverages with enthusiasm. Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Toast POS, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized work station. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Manage tables by bussing, resetting, and ensuring cleanliness to uphold sanitation standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation, quality control, and food safety compliance. Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage bookings smoothly. Maintain excellent guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and fostering a welcoming environment. Support food safety practices through proper food handling, sanitation, and adherence to health regulations. Experience Previous restaurant serving experience is required especially in fine dining or bar environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence. Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities. Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly. Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities are essential.
