The Hilton Garden Inn Clarksburg is seeking a friendly, dependable, and experienced Breakfast Server to join our team. The ideal candidate has previous food-service or serving experience, provides excellent guest service, and is comfortable working a combination of weekdays and weekends . This position is responsible for creating a welcoming breakfast experience for our hotel guests while maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked dining area. Responsibilities Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner. Provide attentive and courteous service throughout the breakfast period. Set up, maintain, and replenish the breakfast buffet and dining area. Assist guests with questions regarding menu items and hotel breakfast offerings. Clear and clean tables promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining and service areas. Restock food, beverages, dishes, utensils, and other supplies as needed. Follow all food-safety, sanitation, and hotel standards. Monitor buffet presentation and ensure items are fresh and properly displayed. Work cooperatively with other hotel departments and team members. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Previous serving or food-service experience is required. Excellent customer-service and communication skills. Friendly, professional, and positive attitude. Reliable and dependable attendance. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry supplies as needed. Must be available to work a combination of weekdays and weekends , including early morning shifts. Must be a team player and willing to assist wherever needed. Typical shift : 5:30am - 11am This position requires flexibility to work both weekdays and weekends . Breakfast shifts are typically early morning, so punctuality and reliable transportation are important.
