Job Description
Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care. Duties Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing them with menus and information about specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha or Micros POS systems. Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation meets our fine dining standards. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment. Assist with cash handling and basic math calculations for guest checks. Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in fine dining or upscale establishments. Familiarity with Toast POS systems is preferred. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a friendly demeanor. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and check processing. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is a plus. Understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices. Experience as a host/host or in guest services is beneficial.
