Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage options. Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely and correct processing of sales transactions. Serve food and beverages efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities. Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and assisting with food handling when needed. Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a memorable dining experience. Skills Proven experience in food service, restaurant environments, or the food industry with a focus on fine dining preferred. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with sales transaction processing is essential. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Ability to manage time effectively in a busy setting while multitasking between serving, bussing, and assisting team members. Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques to enhance guest experiences. Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation, cash handling, and processing payments efficiently. Food safety certification and understanding of sanitation standards required; experience with food handling is a plus. Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation management tools is advantageous. Strong communication skills coupled with a friendly attitude to foster guest satisfaction and team collaboration.
