Responsibilities Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff. Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Handle all sales transactions efficiently while processing payments accurately through POS systems and cash handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning service areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining settings. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Toast. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously. Familiarity with wine knowledge, spirits experience, cocktail preparation, and upselling techniques. Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Basic math skills for cashiering, sales transaction processing, and accurate cash handling. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
