Role:

The Expo/Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, as you will be responsible for delivering food from the kitchen to the dining area. You will also assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the service areas, ensuring that all safety and health regulations are followed. The Expo/Food Runner will collaborate closely with kitchen staff and servers to ensure that orders are accurate and delivered in a timely manner. Ultimately, your efforts will directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall success of the establishment.

Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience as a food runner or in a similar role. Knowledge of food safety procedures.

Responsibilities:

Deliver food from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner. Assist servers in ensuring that all orders are accurate and complete before delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, including dining tables and kitchen stations. Adhere to safety and health regulations while handling food and beverages. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate order delivery and address any issues.

Skills:

The required skills for this position, such as the ability to lift and carry heavy weights, are essential for transporting food and beverages efficiently. Full range of mobility and reaching overhead are necessary for navigating the dining area and accessing items in the kitchen. Safety procedures are critical to ensure that all food is handled properly and that the work environment remains safe for both staff and guests. Repetitive motions are a part of the daily routine, as you will be frequently moving between the kitchen and dining areas. The original Fuzzy's Taco Shop is on Berry Street in Fort Worth, Texas.
