• Job Overview:

• We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Host/Expo to join our team.

As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service and creating a positive dining experience. We are willing to hire those without experience, but preference will be given to those with 1-2 years in a similar role. This is a tipped position. This is a Part Time role, about 1-3 shifts a week.

• Duties:

• Greet guests with a warm welcome and seat them accordingly
• Ensure dining room and waiting area is consistently ready for service.
• Manage reservations and walk-in guests efficiently
• Provide menus and relay information about specials
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations

• Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
• Familiarity with POS systems, such as Toast is a plus
• Familiarity with reservation taking/reservation software such as Opentable is a plus
• Strong guest relations skills to enhance the overall dining experience
• Ability to work well under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food service procedures and phone etiquette
