Host/Hostess

Host/Hostess Job Description Camp Runinmuck is looking for a Host/Hostess to join our team and be the first point of contact for our guests. For the Host/Hostess role, you should have solid organizational and people skills to make sure our guests have a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive till their departure. You must be available to work weeknights and weekends. You should be willing to assist or fill in for bussers and servers to keep up with the busy shifts. Some back of the house assistance might be needed, such as with assisting food runners and inspecting/cleaning restrooms.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Greet guests as soon as they walk up to the station. Provide guests with accurate wait time estimates during busy periods. Maintain a neat, organized front of the house environment. Seat guests to assigned dining areas, provide menus, and announce Server's name. Assist with opening/closing tasks and side work as needed. Learn food and beverage menu. Rotate seating between different stations to ensure even workloads for servers. Answer phones and schedule reservations with large parties.

Qualifications:

Must possess a positive attitude and work well with other staff members. Understanding of restaurant etiquette. Experience in managing reservations. Excellent communication skills on the phone and in-person. Good physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shift. Punctual and reliable attendance Flexible schedule must be available for weekends and holidays. Must be able to work independently. Current Driver's License Other duties as assigned
