Host/Server

Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host and Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is our first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a seamless dining experience. This role also requires knowing our menu and being able to assist with take-out and delivery orders (taking phone orders). Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not necessary. Applicant must be fluent in English and aged 18+ . Responsibilities Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and ensure they feel welcomed. Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize the dining experience. Assist with guest inquiries, ensuring all needs are met promptly and professionally. Accurately pack to-go orders for customers. Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area. Handle phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations or answering questions as needed. Uphold high standards of guest relations, ensuring every guest leaves satisfied. Skills Previous Host/Host experience in a restaurant setting is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and staff. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Strong phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries professionally. Top-notch work ethics - ability to show up to shifts and be reliable at all times Positive, friendly personality and a can-do attitude Shifts/Availability Evening shifts, 4pm-9/10pm. Different days available with emphasis on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
