Hotel General Manager

• 3.1 2717 Pointe North Boulevard, Albany, GA 31721 $60,000 a year Apply with Indeed The General Manager (GM) is primarily responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel in accordance with our vision and mission statement and core values. The General Manager's responsibilities include the maximization of financial performance, guest satisfaction, and staff development within established quality standards. The General Manager is also responsible for the hiring and training of all hotel staff. As a leader, we're looking for a self-starter and understand that the position requires 24-hour availability.

Compensation:

$60,000

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations, including room bookings, event planning, and maintenance. Oversee budgets, maximize revenue, and manage financial records to achieve financial goals. Handle guest complaints and queries, promoting exceptional customer service. Recruit, train, and mentor hotel staff, fostering a culture of growth and teamwork. Be present on property during shift changes to communicate priorities and support the team.

Qualifications:

Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint High school diploma or general education degree (GED); OR one to three years related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to manage teams effectively.
