Hotel Housekeeper

Hotel housekeepers ensure guest rooms and public areas are spotless, sanitized, and well-stocked, maintaining high cleanliness standards to drive guest satisfaction. Key duties include cleaning bathrooms, changing linens, vacuuming, dusting, and restocking amenities. This physically demanding,,, fast-paced role requires attention to detail, time management, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Key Responsibilities Room Cleaning:

Deep clean, sanitize, and reset guest rooms and bathrooms (toilets, showers, sinks) according to brand standards.

Linen & Amenity Management:

Replace dirty linens/towels, make beds, and restock toiletries, coffee/tea, and minibar items.

Public Area Maintenance:

Clean hallways, lobbies, fitness centers, and elevators.

Efficiency & Safety:

Use cleaning chemicals safely, manage time to clean 8-14 rooms per shift, and report maintenance issues or safety hazards.

Guest Service:

Respond promptly to guest requests for items like extra pillows or towels.

Required Skills and Physical Abilities Physical Stamina:

Ability to stand/walk for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions (bending, pushing carts, vacuuming).

Detail-Oriented:

A keen eye for cleanliness to ensure a welcoming environment.

Time Management:

Ability to work efficiently, often under pressure to meet check-out times.

Communication:

Interacting professionally with guests and collaborating with team members. Typical Qualifications Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is often preferred but not always required. Ability to work weekends (mandatory availability), holidays, and flexible hours.
