Hotel Housekeeper

Housekeeper Hotel housekeeping ensures guest rooms and public spaces are clean, sanitized, and organized, typically requiring staff to clean 12-16 rooms per shift. Key duties include deep cleaning bathrooms, changing linens, vacuuming, restocking amenities, reporting maintenance issues, and maintaining public areas to high sanitary standards.

Key Housekeeping Duties & Responsibilities Guest Room Cleaning:

Cleaning and disinfecting toilets, showers, and sinks; dusting furniture; vacuuming carpets; mopping floors; and cleaning windows.

Linen and Bed Management:

Stripping dirty sheets and towels, making beds to hotel standards, and replacing with fresh linens.

Amenity Replenishment:

Restocking toiletries (soap, shampoo, lotion), towels, coffee/tea supplies, and drinking glasses.

Public Area Cleaning:

Cleaning and maintaining the hotel lobby, hallways, public restrooms, elevators, and fitness centers.

Reporting & Safety:

Reporting maintenance issues (e.g., broken lights, broken appliances), returning lost and found items, and adhering to safety and health regulations.

Waste Removal:

Emptying trash receptacles in guest rooms, offices, and public spaces.

Guest Service:

Responding to guest requests for extra pillows, blankets, or toiletries in a timely and courteous manner.

Physical and Operational Requirements Time Management:

Efficiently cleaning rooms within a 20-30 minute timeframe to meet daily quotas.

Stamina:

Physical ability to lift, bend, reach, and stand for long periods.

Organization:

Maintaining a tidy, stocked housekeeping trolley.
