Hotel Housekeeper

Pay:

$17-$18 per hour Part time workweek based upon occupancy Job description: Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring that all areas are sanitized and well-kept. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors. Sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other common areas to maintain a hygienic environment. Launder linens and towels as needed, ensuring they are fresh and clean for guests or residents. Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or maintenance issues promptly. Conduct carpet cleaning and floor care tasks to uphold high cleanliness standards. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests or concerns in a timely manner. Assist with housekeeping management tasks as required, including training new staff members. Maintain a positive attitude while working in hotel or commercial cleaning environments. Experience Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus. Experience in hotel settings or commercial cleaning environments is advantageous. Knowledge of proper sanitization techniques and cleaning protocols is essential. Skills in cooking may be beneficial for specific roles requiring meal preparation alongside cleaning duties.
