Hotel houseperson PM shift part time

From $17 per hour Job description: Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Houseperson to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas within the hotel, and light guest assistance. This role is essential in ensuring a pleasant and welcoming environment for our guests, contributing to their overall experience during their stay. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms when needed at night. Ensure all public areas are clean and well-maintained, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms. Handle laundry duties as required, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens. Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Follow established housekeeping procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of cleanliness. Handle any maintenance request Clean late check out rooms Test pool chemicals and log Requirements Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial work is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and quality service. Ability to perform floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, and buffing as needed. Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed in the hospitality industry. Physical stamina is required; candidates should be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
