Duties Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a pristine environment. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces. Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently. Perform floor care tasks such as stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing to keep all flooring in excellent condition. Follow established cleaning protocols using appropriate janitorial equipment and industrial cleaning supplies for optimal results. Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff. Support housekeeping management in inventory control by tracking cleaning supplies and equipment usage. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued. Knowledge of floor care techniques including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning. Strong understanding of hospitality standards with a focus on guest satisfaction. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, bending, and reaching comfortably. Experience with janitorial or industrial cleaning tools and supplies is advantageous. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards.
