Hotel Housekeeping Associate at Otherland (Newfane, VT) Otherland Hotel is a newly renovated 20-unit boutique hotel located in Newfane, Vermont, currently preparing for its upcoming opening. Inspired by nature, comfort, and thoughtful hospitality, Otherland is designed to provide guests with a warm, restorative experience in the heart of southern Vermont. We are currently seeking enthusiastic, dependable, and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Housekeeping Associates.

This position is based in Newfane, VT. Weekend availability is required, in addition to availability during weekdays as scheduled. To be hired by June.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Guest Rooms Cleaning Clean and prepare guest rooms after every guest check-out to ensure rooms are guest-ready and maintained to our cleanliness standards Make beds and replenish linens and towels Clean bathrooms, showers, windows, and all room surfaces Replenish in-room supplies and amenities Report maintenance issues and guest damages Assist with light maintenance tasks when possible Participate in laundry operations Perform quality control checks on completed rooms Laundry Operations Support the washing, drying, folding, and organization of linens and towels Help maintain laundry areas in a clean and organized condition Assist with inventory organization and linen restocking Common Areas Support At times, housekeeping team members may also assist with maintaining shared guest spaces, including: Lounges and common areas Kitchenette area Sauna areas Outdoor guest spaces Firepit area Self-serve store area Supplies & Inventory Keep housekeeping storage and supply areas organized and properly labeled Submit inventory restocking requests as needed Help maintain organization of housekeeping and laundry spaces

REQUIREMENTS

Reliable transportation Prior housekeeping experience preferred Weekend availability required Ability to work flexible schedules based on operational needs
