Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee the housekeeping department in our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and janitorial services, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent service to our guests. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, including cleaning schedules and staff assignments. Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are cleaned and maintained according to company standards. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and facilities to ensure cleanliness and adherence to safety protocols. Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages professional growth. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels while adhering to budgetary guidelines. Handle guest inquiries and complaints regarding housekeeping services in a professional manner. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences. Requirements Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, industrial cleaning practices, and custodial operations. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional leadership abilities with experience in training and managing staff. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Previous hotel experience is preferred but not mandatory; candidates with janitorial or custodial experience will also be considered. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
