Hotel Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and versatile Maintenance Worker to join our team and ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities and outdoor spaces. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks, including repair, and general building upkeep. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a safe, functional, and attractive environment for staff and visitors alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical skills and outdoor maintenance expertise in a dynamic setting. Duties Operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other construction equipment safely and efficiently for various repair or installation projects Maintain hardscape features including pathways, patios, and retaining walls by cleaning, repairing, or installing as needed Assist with irrigation system installation, inspection, and repairs to promote healthy landscaping Perform routine building maintenance including fixing fixtures, repairing minor plumbing or electrical issues, and ensuring safety standards are met Requirements Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators Knowledge of landscaping techniques including lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions; comfort with snow plowing during winter seasons Strong understanding of irrigation systems, tree care practices, and hardscape maintenance is preferred Prior experience in landscaping or general maintenance roles is highly desirable Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to repairs and upkeep Valid driver's license with the ability to operate equipment safely; certifications related to landscaping or construction are a plus Join us as a Maintenance Worker and bring your energy and expertise to maintain beautiful outdoor spaces while supporting the daily operations of our facility.
