Hotel Maintenance Technician

Duties Key Responsibilities Conduct room inspections and identify maintenance or repair needs. Install and repair drywall and other wall surfaces. Paint assigned areas and equipment as needed. Install, maintain, and replace basic electrical components, including light switches, outlets, bulbs, and fixtures. Repair and maintain furniture. Install, replace, and program televisions. Perform minor plumbing repairs. Maintain and service heating and cooling systems, including preventive maintenance. Diagnose and repair water line issues. Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment. Maintain accurate records of repairs and preventive maintenance. Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations. Monitor guest satisfaction metrics and contribute to improving departmental and overall performance. Assist as a bell attendant during staffing shortages or peak check-in/out periods. Follow established service recovery procedures. Adhere to safety protocols, including proper use of protective equipment and compliance with MSDS and OSHA standards. Support overall guest satisfaction initiatives. Requirements Demonstrated experience in facilities maintenance or related areas such as property maintenance. Strong electrical expertise Solid mechanical knowledge, including plumbing, HVAC systems, welding, and general building maintenance. Proven leadership or supervisory experience, with the ability to effectively guide and support maintenance teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English for accurate documentation and team coordination.
