Hotel Night Auditor

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team in the hospitality industry. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during nighttime hours, providing exceptional customer service while performing critical accounting functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a background in hotel management, and a passion for guest relations. Responsibilities Perform nightly audits of financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with hotel policies. Manage front desk operations during night shifts, including check-ins and check-outs. Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Handle multi-line phone systems, ensuring effective communication with guests and staff. Maintain accurate records of room availability and reservations. Assist in preparing daily financial reports and summaries for management review. Foster positive guest relations by creating a welcoming environment and anticipating guest needs. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations throughout the hotel. Qualifications Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel management preferred. Familiarity with night audit procedures is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent phone etiquette and ability to manage multi-line phone systems effectively. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to accommodate diverse guests. Experience in front desk operations or guest services within a resort or hotel setting is beneficial. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining professionalism at all times.
