Overview The Capistrano Coast House, an iconic beachfront hotel, is looking forJoin our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Night Auditor and become the vital link between our guests and exceptional service during the overnight hours. In this energetic role, you will ensure the smooth operation of front desk activities, maintain accurate financial records, and deliver welcoming guest experiences around the clock. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create memorable stays for our guests while supporting the seamless functioning of our hotel. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality management skills in a vibrant resort environment. The shifts are generally from 11p to 7a, from Sunday through Saturday. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, providing outstanding guest services with a friendly, professional demeanor Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently, ensuring all guest information is accurate and complete Conduct nightly audits of daily financial transactions, including billing, reservations, and account adjustments Monitor multi-line phone systems to handle guest inquiries, reservations, and internal communications promptly Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and reconcile cash drawers to maintain precise financial records Oversee security procedures by monitoring CCTV surveillance and conducting safety checks around the property Assist with late-night front desk operations, resolving guest issues with patience and professionalism Experience Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates Strong customer service skills with a passion for creating positive guest experiences Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued to serve our diverse clientele effectively Familiarity with hotel management software and multi-line phone systems is advantageous Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to handle guest requests courteously and efficiently Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining high standards of hospitality and security Previous experience in resort or hotel environments enhances your ability to excel in this role All team members must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (specific standards available). The ideal candidate will put pride in their work, be reliable, and be friendly and professional at all times.
