Hotel Pool Lifeguard

Duties Monitor pool activity continuously to prevent accidents and respond swiftly to emergencies using first aid and CPR techniques. Enforce pool rules and safety regulations to ensure a secure environment for all guests. Conduct routine pool maintenance tasks, including cleaning, chemical testing, and adjusting water chemistry to maintain optimal water quality. Perform regular inspections of pool equipment, filters, and surrounding areas to identify maintenance needs or hazards. Assist guests with pool-related inquiries, provide exceptional guest services, and promote a friendly atmosphere. Maintain detailed logs of safety checks, incidents, and pool maintenance activities. Support overall pool area cleanliness by performing pool cleaning duties such as skimming debris and sanitizing surfaces. Experience Proven lifeguard experience in a commercial or hospitality setting preferred. Valid certifications in lifeguarding, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), and first aid are required; ongoing certification renewal is expected. Experience with pool maintenance, including chemical testing and basic repairs, is highly desirable. Ability to swim confidently and perform rescue procedures in emergency situations. Physical capability to lift heavy equipment or supplies as needed for pool maintenance tasks. Prior guest service experience is a plus, demonstrating excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
