Job Description The Hourly Kitchen Supervisor assists management by overseeing the daily operations of the location, maintains all standard operating procedures, and fosters a positive work environment. The Supervisor position is vital to overseeing the operations of the location to ensure all food is prepared and served according to health and safety regulations, the facility is clean, and the customers are satisfied with their services. The person in this role creates the tone and personality of the dining location by being an advocate and promoter of training and development, excellent customer service, product knowledge, and adherence to safety and sanitation policies providing support to the cooking process and guest service. The hourly rate for this position is $25.00 to $28.00 . If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.BENEFITS

Job Responsibilities- Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production packets (Production sheets and recipes).
- Direct daily activities.
- Maintains food production that ensures the safety and quality of food according to policies, procedures, and department requirements.
- Ensure that food items are stored in a safe, organized, and hazard-free environment.
- Maintain all serving schedules; ensure that all food items are served per menu specifications in a safe and appropriate manner following Aramark policies and procedures.
- Maintain a sanitary department following health and safety codes and regulations.
- Maintain accurate inventory on a weekly basis.
- May prepare orders as needed to ensure accurate production for location.
- Supervise and evaluate employees; counsel; promote employee growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork.
- Maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment.
- Train/mentor other food service workers.
- Maintain logs on all maintenance required on equipment within the department.
- Ensure all food safety/temperature logs are completed with appropriate corrective action, as necessary.
- Perform preventative maintenance checklist.
- Recommend replacement of existing equipment to meet needs of facility.
- Proficiency in multi-tasking.
- Perform other duties as requested by the Food Service Director or Manager whenever his/her skill and/or experience would be vital to initiate, coordinate, or complete any given program.
- Must fill in for absent employees at location, as necessary.
- Maintain knowledge of daily catering events and confirm they are prepared and delivered on time.
- Be able to work occasional night and weekend catered events.
- Attend food service meetings with staff.
- Maintain communication with staff (including office staff, e-mail, phone calls, inter-office mail, etc).
- May perform cashier duties as the need arises.
- Promote good public relations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous Culinary supervisory experience in the hospitality industry of 2 to 4 years preferred Previous restaurant experience preferred Knowledge to operate and maintain a cost-effective program Proficiency in multi-tasking Travel Requirements Driver's License with clean driving record preferred May be required to travel locally within the region (less than 25%) Working Conditions Primary responsibilities are indoors 85-100% of the time Position requires exposure to kitchen environments to include high heat, fumes, water, loud noise and hazardous cleaning chemicals 60-90% of the time May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions due to required meetings and/or events Leadership Competencies Must have proven ability and/or qualities that can lead to success in the following areas:Strategic Thinking:
