House Cleaner

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various settings, including residential and commercial spaces. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to provide excellent customer service while ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Administrative and Customer Service Duties:

Delivering excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Responding to customer requests and concerns in a kind and professional manner.

Reporting Issues:

Notifying supervisors about maintenance issues or areas needing special attention.

Customer Interaction:

Engaging with customers professionally if required, addressing any specific cleaning requests or concerns.

Time Management:

Punctuality and managing time effectively to complete all assigned tasks within the work shift. 2.

General Cleaning Duties:

Vacuuming:

Vacuuming carpets, rugs, and upholstery.

Mopping:

Mopping all tile and hardwood floors.

Trash Removal:

Emptying trash cans and disposing of waste properly. Double check under beds, in cupboards & drawers, and in corners of rooms for excess trash.

Restocking Supplies:

Replenishing cleaning supplies, paper towels, soaps, sponges, and other necessities.

Bathroom Cleaning:

Scrubbing toilets, polishing faucets, sinks, mirrors, showers, polish glass shower doors, tubs, and floors.

Kitchen Cleaning:

Wiping down countertops, polishing fronts of cabinets, cleaning sinks, faucets, and outside appliances, cleaning inside microwave and fridge, and unloading dishwasher/washing dishes if necessary.

Dusting and Surface Cleaning:

Dusting all surfaces such as furniture, picture frames, lamps, wiping down and sanitizing all surfaces, polishing mirrors and glass surfaces, dust desks, tables, and countertops of every room.

Sanitizing:

Cleaning and disinfecting high-touch areas such as doorknobs, light switches, and handrails.

Laundry:

Complete all necessary laundry, dispose of lint from the dryer. Staging the

Fold toilet paper rolls into designs, fluff pillows, fold throw blankets, neatly placing towels on shelves and racks, spot check windows and glass doors, and make beds when necessary.

Check Your Work:

Go back into each room, look for details top-to-bottom, and ensure that everything has been accounted for and completed. 3.

Specialized Duties:

Deep Cleaning:

Adhering to a standard clean while performing more thorough cleaning tasks such as: sanitizing light switches, vacuuming dust and cobwebs in each corner of a room, scrubbing hard water and grout of tile showers and floors, polishing baseboards, cleaning marks on walls, cleaning inside of ovens and dishwasher, vacuuming and polishing inside of drawers and cupboards.

Special Projects:

Handling special cleaning tasks as requested, such as cleaning items with specific chemicals (wood furniture with wood finish, or wood floors with Bona floor chemical, etc.) Requirements Previous experience in commercial or residential cleaning is preferred but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new cleaning methods or techniques as needed. Have reliable transportation. Pay:

From $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 30.0 per week
