Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized House Manager to oversee the daily operations of a private residence. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth functioning of household activities, managing staff, coordinating events, and maintaining an inviting, well-maintained environment. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding service to create a seamless living experience. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a household with energy, professionalism, and attention to detail. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate household staff including housekeeping, laundry, childcare providers, and personal assistants to ensure efficient daily operations. Oversee all aspects of household management such as cleaning schedules, maintenance requests, and inventory control for supplies and equipment. Plan and execute special events, dinners, and gatherings with attention to detail in logistics, décor, catering, and guest experience. Manage childcare responsibilities as needed, including scheduling activities, supervising routines, and ensuring a safe environment. Coordinate with service providers such as contractors, vendors, and hospitality staff to maintain the residence's upkeep and enhance guest experiences. Handle administrative tasks related to household management including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and overseeing household budgets. Ensure all household activities meet high standards of cleanliness, organization, safety, and hospitality. Experience Proven experience in residential property management or hospitality roles such as hotel management or personal assistant positions. Strong background in event planning with the ability to organize both small gatherings and large-scale events efficiently. Demonstrated supervisory experience managing household staff or service teams with excellent leadership skills. Familiarity with housekeeping management including cleaning protocols, laundry procedures, and general property maintenance. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in childcare or working with children is highly desirable. Knowledge of customer service principles combined with time management expertise to prioritize tasks effectively. $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
