Housekeeper

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial cleaning and housekeeping management. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests and staff. The Housekeeper will be responsible for ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces according to established standards. Carry out floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces. Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and efficiently. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when reordering is necessary. Follow proper procedures for handling hazardous materials as per safety guidelines. Assist in the training of new housekeeping staff as needed. Uphold high standards of cleanliness in accordance with hotel or hospitality industry regulations. Qualifications Previous experience in industrial cleaning is preferred. Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation is beneficial. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members professionally. A commitment to providing exceptional service in a hospitality environment.
