Housekeeper

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and ensure that our residential or commercial spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional cleaning services, managing laundry tasks, and providing a welcoming environment for residents, guests, or clients. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help create a spotless, organized, and inviting atmosphere that exceeds expectations. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and techniques. Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming carpets, and polishing surfaces to maintain a pristine appearance. Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens efficiently. Ensure all sanitation standards are met by disinfecting surfaces and managing waste disposal properly. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to residents' or guests' requests and maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor. Maintain cleanliness of appliances and fixtures such as ovens, refrigerators, sinks, and bathroom fixtures through regular cleaning and maintenance. Assist with housekeeping management tasks when needed, including inventory control of cleaning supplies and reporting maintenance issues. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in residential or commercial settings is highly desirable. Experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality industry roles is a plus. Familiarity with various cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, and sanitation procedures. Knowledge of laundry processes and equipment operation. Background in housekeeping management or supervising cleaning staff is advantageous but not required.
